 BELLADONNA IS A POISONOUS PLANT WITH OVAL LEAVES, PURPLE, BELL- SHAPED FLOWERS AND BLACK BERRIES. IT GROWS ALONGSIDE ROADS AND FIELDS IN ZONES 6-9. BELLADONNA HAS A LONG HISTORY IN POISONS & POTIONS OF BOTH THE BANEFUL AND BEAUTIFYING VARIETIES. A KEY INGREDIENT IN THE LEGENDARY 'FLYING OINTMENT,' IT CAUSES SEDATION AND HALLUCINATION. BOTH THE BERRIES AND THE FOLIAGE ARE TOXIC AND CAN BE FATAL IN EVEN THE MOST MINUTE AMOUNT.
